As of February 2023, we have 3 jersey cross heifers available. Our plan is to breed them to a mini jersey bull, and sell them in the Summer/Fall of 2024 with their calf. They will be trained to milk and ready to be your beloved family cow for many years to come. If you are interested in any of them, contact us and we will work together to find the one that is the right fit for you!
Tutu: Jersey/Highland Cross. Born 2/22/2022
RESERVED
Tutu was the first calf born on our farm and is very special to us. She has been dehorned and is curious and a little sassy. We expect her to be as sweet as her mama once she settles with a calf. Jerseys are well-known for their delicious, creamy milk; what isn't as well known is that Highlands can be excellent milkers too. We expect her to be a good milker as well as a hearty, easy keeper. Her calves should make great family cows or beef.
Bryn: Mini Jersey Cross. Born June 1, 2023
RESERVED
Bryn is a beautiful little Mini Jersey cross. We don't know exactly what breed her mom is, but guess she may be an angus/longhorn cross. Bryn is a little shy, but very sweet. She wants to be friends with us, which is so great. We expect her to make a wonderful family cow. She should be an easy keeper and probably won't produce and over-abundant amount of milk, which is perfect for a small homestead. She is a beautiful, unique brindle color.
Lily: Jersey/Angus Cross. Born July 30, 2023
Lily was born loving people. She has never been shy, only curious and friendly. We love her so much. She will walk right up to us at anytime, even when she's out on pasture, which is not very often the case with a calf her age. Lily is 3/4 Jersey, 1/4 Angus. It looks like she'll be petite like her mama, Jemmy.
